Message regarding Covid-19

Artifex Financial takes your financial and personal health seriously.  We have been here for you during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be as the state of Ohio begins to re-open.

Artifex will be following the state’s Responsible Restart Ohio guidelines for general businesses ( ) and adhering to the recommended guidelines.

What does that mean for our clients?  You can be assured that the Artifex team is conducting daily health assessments of our workforce; if requested, we will be wearing masks during our in-office client meetings (and we have a supply of masks if you would like to wear one); and will be exercising great care to ensure social distancing. 

One of our hallmarks has been and continues to be personalized wealth management services.  We know its important to have meetings to discuss your investments and planning, and are happy to meet with you in person if you like, but will limit the numbers of people at client meetings to the client and a spouse or immediate caregiver.  If more family members wish to be available for the meeting, we can arrange a Zoom meeting or conference call with those additional family members.

Before you visit our offices, we ask that you do the following:

  • Take your temperature before coming to the office. Please reschedule your appointment if your temperature is 100.4⁰F or higher.

  • Bring your own mask, if you desire to wear one.

  • Let us know in advance if you want us to wear masks during the meeting. We are happy to wear a mask for you.

  • Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the office. A hand sanitizing station is near the main entry, and restrooms are located near our suite entrance.

  • Wait two weeks before coming to the office if you have traveled out of state.

Before you visit our offices, we will do the following:
  • Disinfect the touch points - door handles, chair arms, tabletops, pens, telephone, and credenza tops.
  • Take our temperature before coming to the office.
  • Wash/sanitize hands before and after each client meeting.

Upon arriving at our office:

  • Please check in with our receptionist at a social distance (6 feet).
  • You will be shown immediately to a conference room at a social distance.
  • We will refrain from shaking hands.
  • We will maintain a social distance.
  • We will wear a mask, if you request it.
  • We will not serve food.
  • We will offer self-service water and coffee in disposable cups.

After you leave our office, we will:

  • Wash/sanitize our hands.
  • Disinfect the touch points.
  • Allow at least 30 minutes until the next meeting.

We also have a robust set of tele-meetings and appointments available using the Zoom platform.  If you would like more information on how to safely and effectively use Zoom, and ensure system compatibility, please contact Kevin or Lex in our office and they will assist you.  We have used web conferencing technologies such as Zoom for several years now, and have found that it can really increase the convenience and efficiency of meetings.

To say that these past months have been unsettling is an understatement.  But what you can be sure about is the ongoing commitment from our team to provide you with a suite of services that protects not only your investments, but your health.
